An easy transition

As people grow older, we understand that it may take a little longer to settle into a new environment. By understanding that basic premise, we believe we make it a lot easier for residents to adapt to their new surroundings. Nothing is rushed, nothing is hurried. We take the time and care to listen closely, especially at this important time. Our ‘open house’ policy, where families can visit at any time and enjoy our hospitality, enhances this transition period.

Looking after the 'whole person'

These days you hear a lot about the importance of 'holistic' care - looking after the needs of the whole person. Our care truly reflects the individuality of each resident. We will understand your physical, psychological and spiritual needs and set about fulfilling these needs in every way possible, with a focus on the details and little extras that complete the holistic approach. The focus on mental stimulation, activities and therapies is unrivalled in any other nursing home company in Northern Ireland. For years we’ve been offering alternative therapies such as reflexology, aromatherapy, yoga and beauty therapy – all of which help to complete the well-rounded menu of care available. And if you are up trying something new, we’ll help you do it!

Maintaining the highest levels of care

The quality threshold we set ourselves is very high and we keep increasing the levels of high quality care. No-one judges ourselves more harshly than we do. To maintain the highest standards, we continually introduce professional expertise to challenge and stimulate our care teams to incorporate the latest innovations in care into their practice. We actively work to improve the quality of life for every resident. That’s why our teams are proud to work in a Care Circle Home. They know if they had to recommend a Care Circle Home to a relative or friend they could do so with complete confidence.

Maintaining contact

When residents join us, it doesn’t mean cutting off their links with the wider community. We actively encourage everyone to maintain and grow our links with those around us. We promote simple things like daily walks to the local shops or organised shopping trips, visits to museums, to relatives, to places of interest. We have strong relationships with schools, groups and with Churches of all denominations. We facilitate weekly Church services and support on-going cross cultural exchange through the innovative activity programmes we provide.

Community and voluntary support

Care Circle is a values-based and forward thinking company. We take our responsibility to our communities very seriously and are proud to support Business in the Community on a wide range of community development and regeneration initiatives. We promote the benefits of good Corporate Responsibility. We encourage and support staff to help those around them and to use their skills and talents to support those in need.

Care Circle is the proud winner of several awards including most recently Business in the Community’s award for Employer of Choice 2010. Care Circle was also recognised in the presitious 2009 Irish News Business Awards as a Best Place to Work.

And most importantly of all… we respect your choice

The one thing we remember above all else is - that our residents are paying guests and have choice. We endeavour to deliver excellent service every day, the same as you would expect when staying at a premium hotel. We know that when you visit us, you will realise that choosing to live in a Care Circle Home will be the right choice for you.
